last year, i questioned if i even loved photography as i once did. everything was becoming a race. who can put out content the fastest. i had to adapt because thats how i pay my bills. but for some reason when i was chasing the money, photography became less fun. around my birthday, i grabbed a fuji xt1. a small enough camera to take everywhere with me and not be a hassle. oh how i fell in love all over again. photography didn’t feel like a race or a job. it was everyday shit around me and it was just what i needed. the goal was to take more and share more but i became a picture hoarder. i challenged myself to do that this year with a post a week on instgram. but i wanted to take it a step further and share more on here. tell more stories about the photos and my experiences.

week 1: on an assignment at Morehouse College Homecoming. i got to see firsthand the tradition that you hear so much about. i get it. they really support their own no matter when you attended the school. game day was like 2 different worlds…inside the game and outside. on the other side of the gate, its a real party going on.
